    Remembering Khunying Mo

    From March 23 to April 3, the public and private sectors of Nakhon Ratchasima province will host the annual "Ya Mo Fair" near the statue of Thao Suranaree and in front of the provincial hall in Muang district.

    The objective is to celebrate the heroic deeds of Thao Suranaree (Khunying Mo or Ya Mo (Grandma Mo)) and other Thung Samrit heroes and heroines.

    Activities will include a procession, fireworks displays at the four gates of the city, local dances and entertainment, retro-style street shows, light and sound shows and the sale of the province's prized goods.
