Matt Schuman (BA-86) wasn’t supposed to live long enough to see his second birthday.
For 49 years — filled with highlights from being the first poster child for the Colorado Muscular Dystrophy Association to graduating from high school and going on to earn a journalism degree from UNC to covering the Denver Broncos and their Super Bowl wins for the Greeley Tribune — he inspired.
His determination is just one of the reasons the news of his death Aug.
