Haloti Ngata
Etuini Haloti Ngata (born January 21, 1984 in Inglewood, California) is an American former professional footballdefensive tackle.

He played 13 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played for the Baltimore Ravens, Detroit Lions, and Philadelphia Eagles. Ngata was drafted out of the University of Oregon by the Baltimore Ravens with the 12th pick in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft.
Ngata was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2010 and 2011. He won Super Bowl XLVII with the Ravens when they defeated the San Francisco 49ers 34-31.

College career
[change | change source]While with the Oregon Ducks, Ngata was successful. Ngata totaled 107 tackles, 17.5 tackles for a loss, and 6.5 sacks total in the 2004 and 2005 seasons after tearing his ACL in 2003.
Professional career
[change | change source]In 2006, Ngata had one interception and a 60-yard return, and had two picks for eight yards in 2008. He was an important part of the Baltimore defense.
